| Applications | 2,3-Diamino-2-methylpropanoic Acid Dihydrochloride is a salt analog of 2,3-Diamino-2-methylpropanoic Acid (CAS# 170554-69-5), which can be useful in the synthesis of optically pure (aminomethyl)alanine and (aminomethyl)leucine. 2,3-Diamino-2-methylpropanoic Acid can also be useful in the identification of the toxic agent β-N-methylamino-L-alanine (BMAA) from its isomers in biological samples. |
